When looking at FedEx and UPS it helps to know that each company has their strong points and you should work off of them. Their tracking is a joke compared to even the barebones stuff USPS has. They take it seriously and the dedication is incredible. USPS is the only service other than DHL that can get a package to me from the next state in less than a week (without paying $25). With the tracking number, USPS had been able to track every minor detail of that package’s movement (far more than the online tracking tool will tell you - they’ve got this stuff in their extensive database in case issues such as mine arise) and we were able to locate the package easily and figure out what happened.
